An e-mail from Skemman, which confirms that the thesis has been approved for publication in Skemman (the second e-mail from Skemman), is to be forwarded to the students faculty in accordance with its rules.
When you have submitted the thesis successfully to Skemman you can view your work there under My Submitted Items and that it is pending acceptance. You will get an email that confirms that the thesis has been submitted and is pending review. You will receive another e-mail when the thesis has been approved and accepted to Skemman. This latter e-mail is the confirmation of submission to Skemman that is forwarded to your faculty/supervisor.
If there are any problems in delivering the thesis, i.e. if a pdf-file is corrupt or some information is missing, the author will be notified that his work has been rejected and information on what needs to be improved before resubmission is supplied. If a declaration of access is missing the thesis will be rejected. Please note that all notifications will be sent to your hi-email only (xx@hi.is).
When the thesis has been approved and accepted to Skemman its registration and abstract are available online. The thesis itself will not be available online until after graduation.
