About ORCID IDs

ORCID ID is a persistent digital identifier that distinguishes you from every other researcher, and through integration in key research workflows such as manuscript and grant submission, supports automated linkages between you and your professional activities ensuring that your work is recognized. Impact factor

Impact Factor is used as an indicator of the importance of a journal to its field of study and is calculated according to a special formula. The higher the impact factor, the more highly ranked the journal. Impact is one thing to be mindful of when finding the appropriate journal for your research

How to spot a Predatory Journal

  • Are you familiar with the journal?
  • Can you easily contact the publisher?
  • Are they clear about how they practise their peer review process?
  • Can you easily see what fees will be charged?

If the answer is no for any of these questions, the journal is most likely predatory.
