Requests for course reserves are accepted throughout the year.
Reminders are sent by e-mail in May and August for the autumn semester and November and December for the spring semester.
Please note that it is not possible to guarantee that material is placed on course reserves before the start of teaching if the request is received later than 7 days before the first day of classes.
This timeline is based on material that is already available in the library, new materials may take longer to arrive.
Please note that requests are processed in the order in which they are received.
Acquisition requests can be made through a form on the library website.
The course reserves are situated on the 3rd floor in Þjóðarbókhlaðan. It consists of books and other materials that lecturers at the University of Iceland have requested be made available for their students
